To operate a fleet of vehicles an operator has to obtain an O Licence from the Vehicle and Operator Services Agency (VOSA).

All our vehicles are fitted with live trackers enabling exact knowlege of location, speed, engine use, mileage, working time and driving time.

M C Mountain & Son Ltd obtain from VOSA on a 3 monthly basis our operator compliance risk score statement which is a mechanism used at roadside checks to calculate the likelihood of an operator being non compliant. Our score over the last 2 years up to September 2009 is G03 which is in the top 10% in the UK.

MOT pass rate for 2009/10 so far is 95% (Sept 2009)

All vehicles are serviced and maintained in accordance to our O Licence requirements every six weeks.
